LA JOLLA, Calif. - The Wisconsin track and field team turned in a series of solid performances in elite throwing events at the UC Davis Triton Invitational on Saturday, highlighted by a podium finish in the women's shot put.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Wisconsin softball team put together its largest comeback of the season, erasing a six-run deficit to take down Purdue 10-9, capped off by a grand slam from redshirt freshman Jaclyn Showalter in the seventh inning.

The Badgers finished day one of the Cal Classic on Saturday, April 4.
